County Council was divided Monday night on a vote to rezone a large tract of heavy industrial land on Riverside Road to allow for a residential development.
LGI Land of Texas owns 1,970 acres along Riverside Road. The company wants to develop homes on the site, but the site will need a special septic tank system because it is not serviced by Lancaster County Water and Sewer District.
