An ordinance providing tax relief to the Lancaster & Chester Railroad was unanimously approved by Lancaster County Council on Monday, July 8, months after a similar effort failed to gain traction with county officials.
The agreement was one of two related pieces council considered Monday, though compared to previous meetings, neither item generated any conversation among council.
First up, council unanimously approved final reading of an amendment to an ordinance that placed the company into a joint industrial and business park status last December.
