Lancaster police are still looking to make arrests in last week’s robbery of Meeting Street Express.

Officers came to the convenience store about 9:30 p.m. Nov. 24 after a man and woman reportedly fled the building with money from the cash register.

The man, dressed in a hooded sweatshirt, entered the store and walked behind the counter. He told the clerk he was getting a pack of cigarettes from the rack, according to an incident report.

The clerk, who told the man he was not allowed behind the counter, gave the man money after he told her to open the register. The man took an undisclosed amount of money and headed toward the door, where his accomplice was serving as a look out, the report said.

A customer was in his car when he saw the woman standing near the door, with a white hooded sweatshirt that covered her face, the report said.

The customer said the male assailant tried to conceal a knife. His face was also covered by a hood, the report said.

After leaving the store, the male assailant  ran toward Wylie Street while the female assailant headed toward Barr Street, the report said.

Chief Hugh White said no arrests have been made.
