TOPS, Taking Off Pounds Sensibly, meets from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. each Thursday at Lynwood Methodist Church, 1753 Lynwood Drive. Week Ahead
Clark to perform
Lancaster native Dr. Peggy Clinton Clark will perform at 7 p.m. today at Neal-Jones Auditorium at Morris College. Her repertoire will include sacred, popular, jazz, baroque, classical and romantic pieces. Clark is an associate professor of music at Morris College.
Mass choir workshop
There will be a Relay for Life Across Lancaster mass choir workshop. There will be three rehearsals at 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Registration is $5. For details, call 804-2307.

Spring Art Draw
The Lancaster County Council of the Arts will hold its Spring Art Draw from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $15 per person or $20 per couple. The event will begin with an artist reception for Ben Davison, Ben Moore and Michael Elbeck.

Bike night
Dairy Queen of Lancaster will hold a Bike Night from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. Vote for your favorite bike for $1. All proceeds go to the Childrens Miracle Network. First place receives a trophy and a $50 gift certificate from Yamaha.
Second place gets a $25 Dairy Queen gift certificate. There will be balloons, games and more.
IL Spring Festival
The 10th annual Indian Land Spring Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Indian Land Elementary School on Dobys Bridge Road, just off U.S. 521. The event will include childrens games and activities, food, auctions and business booths. Armbands, $15 each ($10 in advance), allow children access to all rides and activities except for pony and Flex Flying rides. Armbands for children 3 and under are $5 each.
Baron DeKalb reunion

Humane society dinner
The newly formed Humane Society of Lancaster County will hold its Fur Ball, a spaghetti dinner and dance, from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Springdale Recreation Complex, 260 S. Plantation Road. Walking for Ryan
The Kleine-Levin Syndrome Foundation will hold Walking for Ryan from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lancaster High School track. Walking for Ryan is in memory of Ryan Alexander McKinney, a Lancaster native that died at the age of 19 of cardiac arrthymia due to KLS.
There will be activities, a barbecue luncheon, a NFL auction and pictures with professional athletes. Participating agencies include Springs Memorial Hospital, Department of Social Services, Communities in Schools, Childrens Council and more.
Financial seminar
The Lancaster Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will hold its annual financial seminar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the University of South Carolina at Lancasters Bradley Building. Topics include savings, education, college planning, budgeting, tax refunds, debt freedom, 401(k), life insurance, home ownership and more. Door prizes will be given away.
Garden club sale

Hendrick is the wife of the late John Hendrick and mother of Jennifer and Kimberly who died in a plane crash in Oct. 24, 2004, in Martinsville Va. Lancaster County First Steps will hold Beach Bash and Boogie from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. April 19 at the University of South Carolina at Lancasters Bradley Arts and Science building. Relay for Life Pageant
The 2008 Lancaster County Relay for Life Pageant will be April 19. The child in each category who raises the most money will be crowned at the Relay for Life event. Money should be turned in by 5 p.m. April 19. Age categories are Tiny Miss Relay for ages birth-5, Tiny Master Relay ages birth-5, Little Miss Relay for ages 6-12 and Little Master Relay for ages 6-12.

Ride the rails
The Fort Lawn Community Center will hold Ride the Rails, a L&C Railway train ride, at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. or 3 p.m. April 19. Cost is $7.50. There will also be a car show.
