The Indian Land Warriors had plenty to celebrate Friday night in the ninth annual Founders Federal Credit Union Kickoff Classic at IL’s Reservation where the host IL team knocked off Class AAAA county foe Lancaster High School, 19-12 to cap the prep football jamboree action.

The Warriors’ win was their first over the Bruins at the Indian Land High field, but it wasn’t the first time IL had defeated the Bruins in the jamboree.

In the first Kickoff Classic at Buford High School in 2004, the Warriors topped the Bruins’ 7-6.
