Clash reset for Saturday night

The Carolina Clash is set to roll into Lancaster Motor Speedway on Saturday night with a $4,000 prize.

The Clash was scheduled for Saturday night, but reset to this Saturday, Oct. 5, following a rainout last Saturday at the half-mile dirt oval.

Fans can expect to see some of the area’s top Super Late Model Drivers at LMS on Saturday.

The Super Street prize is  $800, and Crate Sportsman is $700.

The Pure Street has  $600 on the line and the FWD/UCAR winner nets $300.

Track gates open at 4 p.m. for the pits and stands.

Admission is $20 for the stands and $30 for the pits.

The racing starts at 7 p.m.

If you missed any of the racing action from the last  race at LMS, or from any race this year, Jackie Sims will have DVDs for sale in the pits and grandstands for $10.

LMS is located four miles north of Lancaster off U.S. 521.
