The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series is set to invade the famous half-mile oval of Lancaster Super Speedway on Saturday night, Aug. 24.

The race pays $4,000 to win and is round 1 of the Roush Yates Performance Products and JE Pistons Countdown To The Cup Championship Chase.

Drivers such as Dennis “Rambo” Franklin, Johnny Pursley, Tim “The Toolman” Allen, Ricky Weeks, Ross Bailes, Mike Gault, Michael Marlowe, Damon Kotke, Big John Pursley, Kyle Pierce, Luke Roffers, Scott Autry, Doug Sanders and many more of the Carolinas, Georgia and Virginia area top Super Late Model drivers will seek the coveted checkers.

The Saturday night racing card includes the NDRA GM Performance Late Models with $1,200 to win, Crate Sportsman $600, Pure Street $500 and Extreme 4 $300.

Gates open in the pits at 4 p.m. and the grandstands at 5. Admission prices are $30 for the pits and $20 for the grandstands.

If you missed any of the racing action from this season, Jackie Sims will have DVDs for sale in the pits and grandstands for $10 each.
