Clark-Harmon Wedding

Sharlene Clark and Eric Demetrius Harmon were married at 6 p.m. May 26, 2013, by Minister Chris Jackson at Brakefield at Riverwalk in Rock Hill.
The bride is the daughter of Lena Allen Clark of Lancaster and the late L.C. Clark. She is the granddaughter of the late Robert and Albertus Allen, the late King David Clark, the late Eva Mae Clark and the late Bleaker Hammond Clark. She is a 2002 graduate of Francis Marion University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and received a degree in ophthalmology training from Duke University in 2005. She is a certified ophthalmic technician.
The groom is the son of Ruth Bradley Walker of Kingstree and the late William Dean Pressley Sr. He is the grandson of the late Carol and Louise Bradley. He is a 1994 graduate of Kingstree Senior High School and received a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2000 from Francis Marion University. He is an elementary school teacher.
The bride was given in marriage by Charles Montgomery Sr.
Matron of honor was Renee Wilson of Lancaster.
Maid of honor was Deloris Bennett of Raleigh, N.C.
Bridesmaids were Angela Blakeney-Barber, LaKendra Clyburn, both of Lancaster and cousins of the bride, Beth Frierson of Charlotte and Tarisha Latimer of Greenwood.
Best man was Andre Williams of Kingstree.
Best maid was Bernadette Brown of Columbia.
Groomsmen were Daimon Gamble of Myrtle Beach, nephew of the groom, Jawaski Harmon of Lexington, nephew of the groom, Quinton McClary of Aiken and Nicholas Moody of Columbia, godson of the groom.
Flower girl was Cara Collins.
Ringbearer was JaKari Harmon.
Usher was Rasheen Robinson of Summerville, cousin of the bride.
Bride’s personal attendant was Eva M. McKeithan of Charlotte, aunt of the bride.
Hostesses were Tessira Tcon Wade of Columbia and Traci L. Kirk of Lancaster, both cousins of the bride.
Town crier was JaMyuis Johnson of Lancaster, godson of the bride.
Wedding directors were Blondale Funderburk, Blondean Funderburk, both of Lancaster, and Melloney Robinson of Rock Hill.
Music was provided by Leslie and Friends.
The bride wore a soft satin ivory gown with a sweetheart neckline and an empire crystal beaded sash. The gown had an asymmetrical ruching throughout with a corseted back. She wore a mid-length veil with crystal edging and carried a nosegay of roses, peonies, orchids, hydrangea and freesia in shades of ivory, champagne and blush.
A reception was held at Brakefield at Riverwalk.
After a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple lives in Charlotte.
