City officials are restarting the bidding process for repaving at the Municipal Justice Center.
Last month, city staff sought bids from five area contractors to repave the MJC’s rear entrance on Chesterfield Avenue. City Council allocated $20,000 form its budget to pay for the work.
Teresa Meeks, the city’s support services director, said two of the three bids received were immediately disqualified because they didn’t meet requirements. Thomas Concrete failed to list a total project price and LCI didn’t include its price.
