City of Lancaster residents will soon see a hike in property taxes and water and sewer fees – increases that will help pay for a number of additions, such as more police officers.
City Council unanimously passed final reading Tuesday, June 26, of its $21.49 million budget for 2012-13.
The vote was 6-0. Councilman John Howard was absent.
The new fiscal year begins today, July 1, and ends June 30, 2013.
