INDIAN LAND – Inspiration Ministries will host grand opening events on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate the completion of phase one of its City of Light campus.

Events will feature special guests Pat Robertson, Morris Cerullo, Benny Hinn, Judy Jacobs, Christ Tabernacle Choir, Lindell Cooley and more.

The events are free and open to the public, and will be televised live to a worldwide audience through Inspiration Ministries’ networks, INSP–The Inspiration Network and Inspiration Network.

The first phase of the City of Light campus includes the WorldReach Headquarters, the International Prayer and Welcome Center, the Boulevard of Nations, a reflection pool and a 100-foot cross. Inspiration Ministries announced plans to build the City of Light in January 2006.

When completed, the City of Light will include an international media training and production center designed to train and equip “media missionaries” from around the world in state-of-the-art methods and techniques for using media in their native lands.

Facilities also are planned to accommodate the ministry’s other outreaches, including a tea house and conference center for its women’s ministry, a youth evangelism center, a children’s evangelism center and a state-of-the-art pavilion for concerts and events.

The campus is being developed using a multi-phase approach and is expected to require up to 10 years to complete.
