Lancaster City Council is preparing to take its first official action on the 2013-14 budget.
First reading of the proposed $19.4 million budget is set to occur during the Tuesday, May 14, City Council meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. at Lancaster City Hall.
Council held its most recent budget work session Thursday, May 9. City Finance Director James Absher said there hasn’t been much change in the proposed figures since the recommended budget was presented to council April 30.
