Chester track will host Southern OWM Shootout

I-77 Speedway will host round three of the Southern Open Wheel Modified Shootout on Saturday night.

 Stars of the open wheel ranks from the Carolinas and Virginia will be at the Chester track.

Series director Mark Robinson stated “13 to 16 cars is a good number, but don’t be shocked to see 18 to 24 because there are no other tracks running the open wheels this week.”

The track hosts seven divisions of racing.

The card also inclues the NDRA GMPLM. Super Street, Sportsman Crate, Renegade, Semi-Mod 4 and U-Cars.

Pit admission is $20. Grandstand admission is $10.

Hot laps at 6:45 p.m., with the drivers’ meeting fot follow.
