Buford rebounds, rips Stallions

Buford rebounded from a pair of losses to blank Lee Central of Bishopville 15-0 on Monday in the North Central preseason baseball tournament.The Jackets’ Colt Ellis was the winning hurler, going four innings and fanning eight. He allowed two hits and a walk.Gavin Flynn led the Buford offense with two hits. Joseph Wright, Christian Dickson, Cheyne Horne, Dustin Carnes, Britt Wells and Donald Kirkley each had a hit for the Jackets.Buford dropped a 6-2 loss to Ben Lippen in its tournament opener on Saturday.Christian Dickson went seven frames and allowed two walks and five hits.
