Buford Middle tops ILMS, 14-8

The Buford Middle School Jackets’ football team posted a 14-8 win over Indian Land Middle School on Thursday, Oct. 25.

Buford, 3-5, scored on a one-yard run by Isaah Nesbit. Matt Hunter’s 30-yard run to the ILMS one to set Nesbit’s short scoring run.

The contest was tied at 8-all at the half.

Nesbit tallied the winning touchdown on a 10-yard run.

Buford Middle School coach Greg Caskey saluted the play of Shylyn Wright, who picked off a pass, and Davis Teague who tallied a pair of sacks in the game.

 Cannon Catoe had a sack and Wesley Grant recovered a fumble to aid the Buford Middle School victory.
