Bruins wing Falcons twice

Lancaster High School basketball teams used stellar second-half play to post a Region III-AAAA sweep of Nation Ford on Friday night. The Lady Bruins picked up their play in the third period to take control on the way to a 45-39 win over the Lady Falcons.

In the nightcap, the Bruins turned up their defense and downed NFHS 50-37 in a solid league win. The third period proved crucial for each team in its win. The Bruins, 7-5, 2-4, were relentless in their defensive effort on the way to the 13-point win.
