The Lancaster Bruins forged an early 8-0 lead and stayed on top for an 11-6 win over Aiken to remain alive in the Class AAAA Upper State baseball playoffs on Saturday afternoon at Doomsday Corner.LHS senior hurler Nick Ferguson notched the win, going 5.2 innings. He allowed three runs, three hits and two walks. Ferguson fanned four. Ferguson aided his cause with three hits, including a solo home run, and drove in three runs.Michael Catoe worked 1.1 innings and yielded three runs, three hits and a walk.
