Bruins fall to Airport

Lancaster dropped an 11-5 loss to Airport of Columbia in the third round of the Lake Murray Classic on Wednesday.

Nick Ferguson led the Bruins with two hits and a pair of stolen bases. Bryan Gainer had two hits and drove in two runs. Trevor Hammond had a hit and a RBI.

Will Gaston and Josh Warfield each had a hit.

Warfield worked an inning and allowed four hits and an earned run.

Michael Catoe went three frames and yielded four hits and a walk. Evan Byrd hurled two innings and gave up three hits and two walks.
