The Bruins’ one-point win sends LHS to Dorman to face the Cavaliers in the Class AAAA Upstate semifinals on Tuesday night.

Lancaster didn’t have an easy night, rallying from a 9-point deficit in the final period.
Bruins’ senior guard Alan Robinson, who hit 13 points, netted two clutch free throws with 11 seconds to play to give LHS a 53-50 edge.
Wren, which finished 19-9, came down with a chance to tie, but missed on a trey and the Golden Hurricanes’ Rashaad Floyd hit on a meaningless layup at the buzzer and LHS held on for the one-point win.
“Anytime you win in the playoffs and extend your season, it’s a good win,” LHS coach Ricardo Priester said. “We made key plays in the moment and that helped us move on.
“It was a tough night, but we survived and at this stage that’s all that matters.”
