Bruin booters trip York in region win

The Lancaster High soccer team posted its first region win, taking a 3-2 home victory over York on Tuesday night.

The match was decided on penalty kicks as? Drew Christensen, Michael Simpson, Charlie Harrell, and Matt White scored to give LHS the win.

LHS keeper O'Neal Simpson made two brilliant stops to aid the win.

LHS held a 1-0 halftime lead as White tallied on an assist from Graham Taylor. In the second half, White struck again only two minutes into the second half on an unassisted goal.
