Brooklyn Springs Elementary observes Veterans Day

A sea of students waved American flags proudly during a Veterans Day program at Brooklyn Springs Elementary School on Tuesday. The school’s students and faculty gathered in front of the building for the ceremony, which began with a presentation of the colors by the Lancaster High School JROTC.  A group of fourth- and fifth-graders later shared poems that all touched on core ideas of Veterans Day.  One piece read, “Support our troops.
