On Saturday, those of us who reside in Indian Land found a brown bag with a paper stapled to the bag attached to our mailbox post. The letter was from the Palmetto Council Boy Scouts of America (York District) asking to have non-perishable food items, personal hygiene, baby food or diapers to benefit York District residents who need assistance left in the bag for collection next Saturday, Nov. 10.
