Board grateful for support

-A A +A

On behalf of Lancaster County Partners for Youth board of directors I would like to extend a huge thank you for everyone in the community who was involved with the 22nd Annual Crenshaw Oil Golf Tournament benefiting our Lancaster County Partners for Youth’s scholarship program.
I especially want to thank Hal Crenshaw, Jessica Lawson, Carlean Taylor and all the other Crenshaw Oil employees who worked so hard in making this tournament our best yet.
I am truly grateful for all of the sponsors, businesses, participants and volunteers, for without them we would not have had a full tournament with dozens of prizes and more than $5,000 in awards. Though we did not have a winner in the $1 million Founders Federal Credit Union shootout, a good time was definitely had by all.
The tournament has raised more than $104,000 after expenses and scholarships were paid out; that does not include this year’s totals.
To me, this really puts the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce’s slogan, “Think Lancaster First. Eat Here. Shop Here. Live Here,” into perspective. Through our continued support of local merchants, like Crenshaw Oil and Crenco Food Stores, will continue to support our community.
For more information on the golf tournament or if your company would like to sponsor scholarships as well, please visit our Facebook page or website at www.lcpartnersforyouth.org or call me at 286-1465.
