Great Falls' season ends

The Great Falls Red Devils saw their 2010 high school football season end with a 78-27 loss to Williston-Elko in the second round of the Class A Division II Upper State playoffs on Friday night.

The W-E Blue Devils rolled to a 21-0 first-period lead on the way to the 51-point victory. The Blue Devils owned a 42-20 lead at the break.

Williston-Elko outscored Great Falls 36-7 in the second half to seal the victory.

Kendrick Salley, who ran for 187 yards, tallied five touchdowns for W-E.

Alstevis Squirewell rushed for 125 yards and tallied two TDs in the Great Falls’ loss. The Red Devils finished 8-4.

Williston-Elko, 10-1, advances to face Christ Church for the Upstate title. Christ Church rolled to a 63-19 win over Fox Creek on Friday night.
