Blackwell-Storey Wedding

Heather Nicole Blackwell and James Wallace Storey were married at 6 p.m. Aug. 3, 2013 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Greenville by pastor Eric Fink.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wallace Blackwell of Lancaster. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earle Bedenbaugh of Prosperity and of Naomi Blackwell Sims of Lancaster and the late Clyde Blackwell. She earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from Clemson University and a doctorate of physical therapy from
the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a physical therapist at Mary Black Inpatient Rehab Hospital.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace A. Storey Jr. of Greenville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace A. Storey Sr. of Spartanburg and of Betty Appleby of Estill and the late James R. Appleby. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from Clemson University. He is a Pro AV sales supervisor at SYNNEX Corporation.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Larry Wallace Blackwell.
Matron of honor was Lindsay Stepp Hough of Lancaster, cousin of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Jennifer Storey, sister of the groom, Brannon Sulka, Haley Sulka, Lauren Blackwell, Melanie Mancuso, all cousins of the bride, Sarah Kain, Jessica Kennedy, Jessica Howard, Mary Beth Cooper and Stephanie Weir.
Best man was Wallace A. Storey Jr., father of the groom.
Groomsmen were Jimmy Swiger, Parks Workman, Austin Brookie, Mike Head, Emory Hendrix, Bill Suski, Andy Davis, Craig Lyons, Thomas Weir and Matthew Brooks.
Flower girls were Charlotte Swiger, Austin Hough and Hanna Mancuso.
Ring bearers were Matthew Mancuso and Lukas Mancuso.
Readers were Paul Eugene Storey, great-uncle of the groom, and Betsy Pietrus Bevis.
A reception was held at Huguenot Loft at the Peace Center.
After a honeymoon in Fiji, the couple will live in Greenville.
