Lancaster County Emergency Medical Services Director Lanny Bernard has been elected to a national EMS association’s board of directors.
Bernard, 53, joined the National EMS Management Association last year and will fill a vacant position on its board of directors. He will serve a one-year term, beginning in January.
“I’m not well-known nationally, but I felt like I had a lot to offer,” Bernard said of his decision to run for a board position.
