The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is seeking  the public’s help in identifying a serial shoplifter at the Aldi grocery store on Charlotte Highway (U.S. 521) in Indian Land.
In a press release issued Friday, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Matt Shaw said a man caught on surveillance video shoplifting at the grocery store is believed to have been involved in multiple incidents there.
The most recent, Shaw said, was June 4 when the man reportedly stole meat valued at $293 from the store.
The suspect is described as a black male between 30 and 40 years of age. In the surveillance photos provided by the Sheriff’s Office, the suspect appears to be heavy set, of average height with short black hair.
The man is believed to have a black female accomplice driving a white Ford Expedition, possibly with a North Carolina license plate.
