Two suspects wanted in connection to an armed robbery in Pineville, N.C., early Friday, Nov. 15, were  taken into custody at gunpoint in the U.S. Post Office branch parking lot on North Main Street in Lancaster about 1:20 p.m.

Authorities had issued a be-on-the-lookout-for (BOLO) bulletin for a 2003 blue Chevrolet sedan that the alleged armed robbers were in after a background check showed the vehicle was registered to a Lancaster address.

Moments after the BOLO was issued, a Lancaster Police Department officer saw the car headed North on North Main Street. Police officers and Lancaster County Sheriffs Office deputies conducted a felony traffic stop in the exit of the post office near the intersection of North Main and East Springs streets and took the men into custody.

Check back later for details.
