A daily newspaper, The “Rock Hill” Herald seems to cover every criminal incident attributed to a Lancaster native, a relative of someone who lives in Lancaster or someone who knows someone who may have lived in Lancaster. To compound the issue, numerous readers, in their comments, like to add insult to injury.
Seems when something awful occurs, a reader will pen that such conduct is normal for folks who pride themselves with “We are Lancaster” banners. Bad deeds make news. Good deeds go unheralded.
