All-county band concert to make music next week

A performance is slated for next week that will highlight the top middle and high school musicians in the area.

The band directors throughout Lancaster County selected about 160 students to take part in the all-county band concert Jan. 31 at Lancaster High School’s auditorium.

This is the first time in recent memory that the local school district is having such a performance, said Mathew Willis, band director at Indian Land High School.
