Two Lancaster County bands will have a chance to call themselves state champion Saturday.
The Andrew Jackson High School and Indian Land High School marching bands performed well enough in their respective Upper State preliminary competitions last week to advance to the state finals.
Indian Land High's marching band finished first in the Class A Upper State preliminaries, held Saturday at Clinton High School.
The top six bands in each class advance to the state finals.
