The official mascot of North Elementary School is a no-named, medieval armor-wearing knight.Unofficially, it has to be a chicken, said North Elementary School science teacher Kim Threatt.More specifically, it’s Ashley, Clem and Fluffy, the three chickens that now make their home in a barn-red and white chicken coop built by Jamie Gainer inside a fence beside the school science lab.The rooster and two hens are carryovers from a 4-H science project at North last spring to teach science students about the life cycle.Threatt said three were among the 18 eggs that hatched at the school jus
