A family court hearing is the likely next stop for a 12-year-old Lancaster boy who was taken into custody earlier this month in the case of a teen who was shot several times with a BB gun.
The case began just before 6 p.m. Sept. 4 when officers responded to the Springs Memorial Hospital emergency room about a shooting victim, according to a Lancaster Police Department incident report.
