Almost as if in reaction to this week’s winter weather, or an overload of Valentine’s Day love, an earthquake rattled through South Carolina Friday night, Feb. 14, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
Centered approximately 7 miles west-northwest of Edgefield, the 4.1 magnitude, already-dubbed the “Valentine’s Day” earthquake was reportedly felt as far away as Georgia and Hickory, N.C.
