Panthers looking to wear Super Bow1 50 crown

By Robert Howey

The NFC Champion and Super Bowl 50-bound Carolina Panthers insist they will follow the same game plan, which has been a fine formula for their success this season.
The Cats say they will use the two-week preparation plan they followed at the end of the regular season to the divisional playoff game with Seattle. Following the Carolina Blue-print for success has set the Panthers as the “cat’s meow,” with a distinct roar across the NFL.
One tweak for the Panthers is their attire for Super Bowl L.

AJ teams unbeaten in region play with wins at IL

Vols top Warriors twice

By Eric Rowell

INDIAN LAND – Andrew Jackson, in much the same fashion in both games, used clutch play against rival Indian Land to keep the Vols squads unbeaten in region play with a sweep of the Warriors Jan. 19.

In the boys game, the host Warriors rallied late and sliced the margin to four, 58-54, on a Mark Morton bucket, but the Vols finished on a 9-4 run to take the 67-58 win.
