Sports Talk

‘Red Man’ one of the good guys

By Robert Howey

One of the Lancaster Golf Club’s “good guys” has played his final round. That’s a shame because Mike “Red Man” Kennington truly loved the game of golf.
Kennington, a fixture at the LGC as a sometimes employee and avid golfer, died last week after a battle with cancer.
During the recent club championship, which saw 14-year-old phenom Anthony “T” Sutton earn the crown, there was still talk of “Red Man.”
