Computer classes
The Lancaster County Literacy Council offers Microsoft Word classes March 3-6 and 10-11. There will be an introduction to computers class April 14-17 and 21-22 and a Microsoft PowerPoint class May 12-15 and 19-20. All classes are from 4 to 6 p.m. Classes held at 610 E. Living Word Church hosts an alternative learning program, Pursuit of Excellence, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday for students who have been suspended or expelled. The program is endorsed by Lancaster County School District, Hope on the Hill, Lancaster Police Department, Department of Juvenile Justice, Juvenile Arbitration, Adopt-A-Leader, Michael Blackmon Foundation and Deliverance Word of Faith Church.
